~ Low-dose and equipped with CMOS detector that is excellent for diagnosis of dense breast tissue especially of South Korean women.
Humanray Co., Ltd. (CEO: Mr. Se Hong Oh / www.humanray.com, www.sizgraphy.com) is a company specializing in Core X-ray Solutions, will participate in KIMES 2012 (Korean International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show) to be held at COEX in South Korea from the 16th to the 19th of February 2012 with a launching exhibit of its digital breast cancer diagnostic imaging equipment (Product Name: Sizgraphy-EVA, see photo).
Sizgraphy-EVA is a breast cancer diagnostic equipment that is especially designed for women with dense breast tissues. It features a high resolution CMOS detector with a 70um pixel size, made entirely by Humanray that enables precise detection of minuscule lesions and micro calcifications in breast tissues. In particular, it realizes a large 17X24cm Single Chip CMOS Detector with its single wafer technology that makes for a highly accurate detection.
Sizgraphy-EVA has added patient comfort and user convenience to the existing Sizgraphy product. With compact and smooth design in warm colors, it provides psychological comfort to women receiving screenings. Switch to CC/ML03 imaging mode to enable automatic patient positioning, which reduces the screening time that enhances user convenience. In addition, the C-arm (automatic) can be turned in a radius to efficiently make use of a small space.
Mr. Oh, the CEO of Humanray, has said that “they will continue to expand market distribution of the product starting with small and medium-sized hospitals to university hospitals in the domestic market, and even an acceleration of exports to the worldwide market through the distribution networks of the affiliate companies VATECH and VATECH Global.”.
Humanray launched the digital breast cancer diagnostic imaging system in the Korean market and has sold 10 units within a year. A supply agreement targeting the Australian market has been entered into.
More so, in January 2012, Dong-a University Hospital in Busan, Korea has signed a purchase agreement with Humanray for two (2) units of “Sizgraphy-EVA”.
“Sizgraphy” has gained good responses in hospital association exhibitions in the past year, so this subsequent model “Sizgraphy-EVA” will be presented in KIMES 2012.
