Gnatus officials paid an official visit at the VATECH Networks headquarter offices in South Korea last June 18, 2012.

Gnatus, a Brazilian company which has head office in Sao Paolo Brazil, began operations in 1976. The name *Gnatus came from the Greek word "Gnathus", which means jaw. Initially, Gnatus manufacture articulators - or devices that stimulates the movement of the jaw, as reflected in the company name. Later, the company started local production and sales of dental chairs and other dental devices with high regard for quality and technology. Now in its 36 years in business, the number of employees has reached to more than 700. Gnatus is known not just in South America but worldwide with exports to more than 130 countries.

Gnatus officials first visited VATECH in 2010 at the smaller building in Giheung Yongin City, which was previously used as the head office.  Since then, VATECH has had considerable growth, changes, and expansion of business operations and management. So now, 2 years later, Gnatus officials revisited Vatech and was surprised with the new and bigger head office buildings, as well as other improvements with the VATECH Networks of companies.

Vatech personnel guided the Gnatus visitors to a tour at the Humanray sensor manufacturing area, where they get to see the actual production area for CMOS-based sensors, and at the Rayence Flat Panel X-ray Detectors (FPXD) manufacturing area within the VATECH Networks building. Afterwards, they went to the adjacent VATECH building and toured the dental imaging equipments manufacturing area. There, they get to see the entire line-up of dental imaging systems of Vatech, from the initial production to the finished products, especially the newest addition to Vatech's product line, the PaX-i system.

Mr. Gilberto Nomelini, CEO of Gnatus, showed great interest in VATECH's capability to independently manufacture a finished product wholly through VATECH's in-house product manufacturing, as well as research and development of digital sensors & 3D software.

At the meeting room, discussing about the new product, the PaX-i system.

More so, Gnatus plans to import and sell the PaX-i system. Once certifications for this newly launched product is approved in Brazil, an additional agreement will be worked on.

Looking forward for PaX-i's entry into the Brazilian market and to the rest of the world.

VATECH Korea participated in SIDEX 2012

Last June 22~24, 2012 VATECH Korea participated in the 9th Seoul International Dental Exhibition and Scientific Congress (SIDEX 2012) held in COEX Seoul Korea. The occasion also marked the 87th founding anniversary of the Seoul Dental Association (SDA), which is the organizing body of SIDEX.

SIDEX 2012 commenced with a ribbon cutting ceremony, which was spearheaded by Mr. Chul Min Chung (6th from left), President of SDA, and joined by the SIDEX 2012 organizers, as well as of some local & foreign exhibitor representatives.
Mr. Haijin Park, President of VATECH Korea also graced the ceremony (1st person on the right).

Once the doors to the exhibition hall were opened, visitors flocked in and explored the exhibition booths.

Guests were meticulously checking the dental equipments on display.  One guest even tried using a dental chair by lying down on it (above photo).

Mr. Tae-Ho Kwon, Chairman of  SIDEX 2012 Organizing Committee, & Mr. Chul Min Chung, President of SDA (2nd & 4rd from left, respectively) visited the VATECH Korea booth.  They were assisted by no less than the President of VATECH Korea, Mr. Haijin Park (1st person on the left).

They had a look at VATECH Korea's OnePass CAD/CAM system display zone.

Journalists, photographers, & cameramen were all very enthusiastic in covering the event.  The media coverage was overwhelmingly amazing.

A thumbs-up for excellence.

Now let's explore VATECH Korea's SIDEX 2012 booth:
The VATECH Korea booth was at the 3rd floor Hall C.  The booth's design expresses a very dynamic structure with the VATECH CI clearly visible inside.

This year, VATECH is celebrating its 10th year founding anniversary.
So, that explains the '10' on the wall, which was incorporated into the booth design concept.

The booth had a 2nd floor lounge area.

At the 2nd floor, meetings with clients and other guests were held.

The view from the 2nd floor area was great. You can even see the VATECH CI from the roof.

This is the display zone for small equipments, where you can find items such as AnyRay II portable X-ray equipment and softwares.

Quite a number of visitors visited the booth and checked out the products on display.

Just directly below the 2nd floor lounge, there was a Coffee Zone complete with chairs & tables, where guests were served with coffee, tea, or juice prepared by a barrista.
On the wall, the slogan of VATECH Korea "All Ready" was prominently visible. This slogan symbolizes the commitment of VATECH Korea to stay close to its customers with all-out support and services.

This is the zone for PaX-i, the latest Panoramic and Cephalometric system of Vatech.

Here at the Mobile Viewer Zone, the staff eagerly promoted EasyDent M.

Many guests were interested in OnePass CAD/CAM system. But currently, OnePass is only available for the domestic market (within Korea).
Anyway, here again is a closer look of OnePass CAD/CAM system:
