Rayence Co., Ltd., (CEO: Mr. James Hyun), a specialized manufacturer
of X-ray detectors, participates in the RSNA 2012 (Radiological Society of North America)
exhibition in Chicago from November 25 to November 30, 2012. Rayence showcases its Xmaru Flat panel detector products that boost
diagnostic accuracy and price competitiveness. Rayence is also unveiling Xmaru 1717SGC fixed detector, a 17 X 17-inch gadolinium digital flat panel detector that fits existing cassette trays without retrofitting. It uses a trigger technology that eliminates the need to integrate into an x-ray generator.
The new panels are designed to easily upgrade both film
and CR (Computed Radiography) cassette equipment to DR (Digital Radiography) equipment, and exposure dose has also been greatly minimized by reducing image
acquisition time by 2 seconds through increasing sensitivity in image data
processing. The emerging core component of these Detectors is the capability to
convert analog to digital image information.
More so, Humanray, a specialized CMOS sensor company, have merged
with Rayence in October of this year. Both of which are subsidiary companies of VATECH. With
this merger, Rayence has become the only company in the world that can provide
both TFT and CMOS based detectors.
Offering a large line-up of products and sizes, Rayence’ TFT and CMOS detectors
can satisfy a wide array of customer needs. So for RSNA exhibition, Rayence
also showcases its CMOS-based detectors in addition to the TFT
detectors. A TFT imaging method is widely used for acquiring an image of a larger
target area, while a CMOS method takes advantage of high resolution diagnostic
image acquisition through its low noise, no image lag, and high-speed imaging technology.
Mr. James Hyun, the CEO of Rayence believes that”Rayence is the only
company in the world with the development capacity to offer a full line up of TFT
and CMOS detectors at highly competitive prices.” He has also stated that,
“RSNA 2012 will be the podium for aggressive international sales growth in
North America, Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world."
